How did the good thief get to heaven if he was not baptized?

Since the thief on the cross who accepted Jesus as the Messiah was not baptized before he died; how could he make it into heaven?

Hi,

Our Lord Himself effectively baptized him by assuring him that he would soon be in heaven. Jesus is source of all sacraments. He is not subject to the sacraments; they are subject to Him. Also–the man died, wanting to follow Jesus and so he died with what is known as “baptism of desire.”

If he had died because of his faith in Jesus, he would have had what is known as “baptism of the blood.”
