How do dinosaurs fit into the Bible?

My son recently asked me for something to help him understand the bible better, when I questioned him further, he said that he did not understand how cavemen and dinosaurs fit into the picture, I have looked at answers about evolution posted here, but nothing seemed to answer his question. Could you please help me? This is the first interest he has shown about religion and the bible and I don’t want to lost him or his interest. Thank You and God Bless.
