What’s wrong with you? “Please clarify or stop posting”?? Why do you feel the need to be rude? Cause you didn’t get the little joke someone made and you don’t think it’s funny?

I’ll spell it out for you.

The word “behave” might sound like someone saying “Be have” just like someone might say “Be good.” Therefore the joke came about because one might say “I’m being have!” just like someone might say “I’m being good!”

Quit being rude. Nobody did anything to you.

Please tell me you are in high school and not in university.

Is butchering the english language some kind of code you all have that I am unaware of?
My wife told me that when she was a little girl her mom would tell her to “behave” So as a little 4 year old she would turn to her mom and say “I’m being have” long “a” sound in have. Cute. I taught my daughter to say this to her mom the next time she tells her to behave.

I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this…

People like to assert that the Church contradicted Herself when she said that those who do not submit to the Pope may be saved. … nobody, even if they pour their blood out for the name of Christ, may be saved if they do not submit to the Pope. … And how do I respond to this?
You need not respond to this in loving manner, but in a just manner: is it just, that those prior to Jesus’ birth should be saved, not simply for the matter, God, as owner of souls, might allow their entrance as a gift to them, but also for the merits, which many of us, find to be the basis of our education both in terms of grammar, and of logic, stemming from the three philosophers: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle.

Whether or not one understand a comical notation or not is irrelevant. People do it everyday throughout all of society. Unless you’re an engineer without personality…like some of the engineers I work with…for…whatever. The point is that its a commical interjection. There were 2 people that made comments in the middle of this and rather than slamming them for interjecting their comments off topic I simply said something in a funny way rather than scold them like some people choose to stoop to.

BTW…I’m 48… want to insult me too by calling me high school… I can give you a list of highly professional people that are older than me that do the same thing.

I was in no way intending to be rude, I sincerely apologize if you took it that way.

I simply had no way of intelligibly comprehending what you posted.

Again, my sincere apologies if you thought I was rude. I in no way intended that.

Did the quote I replied to make sense to you?

Thanks. I just don’t think anyone but you understood that.

Did anyone else on this thread understand it?

Apology accepted.
I simply had no way of intelligibly comprehending what you posted.
I’m sorry… I should have been more clear. I was hoping that if I posted the original word in the form “be have” next to “I’m being have”, the joke would be easier to understand.
Again, my sincere apologies if you thought I was rude. I in no way intended that.
It’s fine.

Which quote?

Post #11 AND #12 were amusing to me or rather #12’s response to #11. I made a joke and it spun out of control… sorry. I have that affect on people… must be my spirituality or my idiosycracy…okay okya stupidity might be a better term… but I"M SORRY! now get off my back… please…😉

Thanks. I just don’t think anyone but you understood that.

Did anyone else on this thread understand it?
The person who originally posted it probably did. 😉 And anyone reading this thread who has heard the joke before would probably understand. Where I live this is a very common joke. I guess it’s not as common in other areas.
