What would it mean to you, independent of any context?

I see now why it might have confused people…

“Be have” = Behave (sounds like be-hayve… not be-halve)… and “I’m being have” also should sound like hayve, not halve.

Same thing… cause I’ve heard the joke. But as I said above… I was trying to clarify the original post that had that joke in it… so it did have context… which was eucharisteo’s previous post.

Now that I’ve actually finished reading the thread, the real explanation is actually pretty funny.

PS: I am also 48 years old. Is there something about being born in 1961 that causes one to have an odd sense of humor?

Let me rephrase my confusion. Two points:

People like to assert that the Church contradicted Herself when she said that those who do not submit to the Pope may be saved. They site a dogmatic declaration that nobody, even if they pour their blood out for the name of Christ, may be saved if they do not submit to the Pope. What are they talking about? And how do I respond to this?
