If I have only venial sins (or no sins at all) yet still want the blessing of the sacrament of confession, what do I say in the confessional? ‘Bless me Father for I have sinned…’ does not seem appropriate…

dan,

While someone who has no sins to confess would benefit from the frequent reception of Holy Communion, these links should be helpful for those of us who have venial sins to confess and desire the blessings and graces that flow from frequent reception of the sacrament of Reconciliation to help us conform our words, thoughts, and deeds to the will of God.
