How do I become a member of the Catholic Church?

I am currently a Protestant, but am seeking to be a member of the Catholic faith, but do not know how. Thank you.
 
You simply need to contact your local Catholic parish. The priest will be able to assess your level of knowledge of the Catholic faith and how much education you may need. The sacraments of initiation are baptism, communion and confirmation. The Church only recognizes baptism in the Protestant faith communities so if you have been baptized you’ll still have to receive 1st communion and confirmation in the Catholic Church.
