How do I convince an Atheist that God exists?

Hi, former Atheist here. My (name removed by moderator)ut isn’t much, but here’s what started pulling me away from atheism: I was having a conversation with a priest and was saying that I didn’t really believe in God because He just didn’t seem real. The priest simply said, “Just remember, God is love, and there is nothing more real than love. ❤️” Those words didn’t magically bring back my faith, but they did really get me thinking and looking for more “evidence” of God. Now, whenever I doubt God I look at all the love in my life and I see Him, woven perfectly into all that love. 😃

Hey everyone. I am having a discussion with an Atheist about the existence of God. I am trying to convince him that God exists but I have no idea how to do that. Can anyone help me?

STA (St Thomas Aquinas) refined Five Proofs of the Existence of God. Mainmonides, the great Medieval Rabbi wrote the basic points STA expanded. None has done better.
Then, there is the assertion: “Faith is a Gift of God”, He can move the Will to accept God.
This seems strange, when a teacher of Physics describes the equation that related Energy and Matter, there is no option to disagree, to name one out of thousands of rules in science. No one has enough smarts to insist on absolute proofs of all of them, that would take 1.5 lifetimes to write, or read. Did you ever read the Preoof of the Equation of Motion by Newton? Neither have I, I was a Freshman and I needed only the word of the teacher, and the fact that my grade depended on my acceptance.
Bue, in principle, ALL laws of science can be proven logically the deduction or by induction, that is with “sufficiently enumerated cases”, like the Scholastic would say, possibly borrowing words frm Aristotle’s “Logic”., c. 350 BC.

STA also said that on matters of faith, it is the WILL, i.e., that shich we love, that move us to accept the Existence of God. Even if you hate God, that would prove He esixts.
But, like someone pointed out “God is Love”, how dreary would life be without Love?
