How do I defend the deuterocanonical books?

I have would like to be able provide some sources that show the cannon of scripture prior the reformation. I have would like to present these to a Protestant friend who thinks that Catholics added the seven Deuterocanonical books.

Can you suggest a site or a method for answering this challenge?
