How do I discern my vocation?

Hi,
I’m a young adult female discerning my vocation and find myself 50/50 inclined to both: I am attracted to both and see the great depth of beauty in both. I’ve got a very close guy friend and it is understood between us that if I am called to marriage he would pursue me seriously and we would both discern the possibility of marriage together. I’ve also visited a couple times a beautiful Poor Clare convent about an hour away from where I live and I love the beauty sisters and their life of sacrifice, chastity, poverty and obedience for the salvation of souls. How does one discover clearly which vocation will best lead him/her to sanctity? How does God make that apparent in one’s life? Thank you!

I encourage you to spend regular time before the Lord in the tabernacle–and wait. He will let you know in His good time. He is the one who does the calling–not us. You are in our prayers.
