How do I dispose of last year's blessed palms?

I received new palms yesterday at church. How do I go about disposing of last year’s blessed palms? I had thought that I could bring them to church for burning but that was not offered.
 
Hi,

If you don’t want to burn them yourself, then bury them in your garden.
