This Mass is to occur on Saturday, so any answer would be appreciated. I know that home Masses are irregular, but the priest officiating has okayed it. I’d just like to know what exactly is expected.
You’ll need some sort of nice table – a dining room table should do – with the best white linen cloth you have to cover it. Ask the priest if he will be bringing other linens. If not, you may want to ask your local parish if you can borrow a set of altar linens, making sure to clean the linens and press them before returning. You may also want to check with the priest to see if he will need you to provide anything else.
