Dear Catholic Answers,
I have a friend who is Protestant. He goes to the Catholic Church to receive Holy Eucharist. But, he does not believe in the real Presence. He says he is “worthy” enough to receive the “bread” that represents our Lord.
I have told him time and time again:

I have told him time and time again:
- The Holy Eucharist is our Lord.
- Holy Communion is a Sacrament and must be received with Sanctifying Grace.
- To receive our Lord worthily you have to believe the Holy Eucharist has changed from bread and wine into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God Bless,
