How do I introduce the faith to my child in an age appropriate way?

I have a book called The Catholic Home by Meredith Gould, it’s a book about how we can incorporate Catholic traditions into our family life with our kids based around the feast days and religious holidays throughout the year. I really recommend it!

Another really great one (rather old so may have to look for a used copy) is “The Year and Our Children” by Mary Reed Newland.

As to your question about when she’s older, my 4-yo watches the video below regularly. Just yesterday he said: “They don’t know that Jesus IS God”, when the pharisee said “Only God can forgive sins!” I don’t recall when he started watching the video, but I started out with my own commentary/(name removed by moderator)ut on various things. lol, when a pair of women of ill repute were mocking St. Matthew for leaving the customs post to follow Jesus, he said: “Who are those women?” The Holy Spirit gave me the correct answer.

That book looks very interesting. I have a degree in Psychology and another in Theology, so such things fascinate me. 🙂

I make sure my kids “catch me” praying.
I pray infront of them a lot, and encourage them to do so.
Before I knew it, my 5 year old is reciting the Hail Mary pretty well, and my 6 year old son insists on saying Grace before meals.

Read her stories while she is young. Tell her about Jesus and Mary and Joseph, as she gets older teach her to pray even if it’s just before bed and in the morning to start with. Say Grace with her when she’s a bit older and take her to church.
While watching tv there are some great programmes and movies to watch Moses and the 10 commandments, the Jesus story, Brother francis Or Cat chat
As long as you do what feels right as a parent it will be right there are no right or wrong answers ( some people think my kids watch to much tv while other parents think I’m mean beacuse my kids don’t watch as much as there’s and my Kids don’t have video games) everything comes down to personal preference
