How do I invite a priest to celebrate Mass in my parish?

What is involved in inviting a priest from another diocese to participate in the Mass and perhaps give the homily at one’s church?
 
Hi,

Certainly, your priest friend will most likely be welcome to concelebrate. But regarding his ministering by presiding and preaching, you need to talk to your pastor. Only he has the prerogative as to who ministers in the parish.
