How do I know what does God want me to do?

I’m talking about decisions like what college should I choose? What major does God want me to choose? Should I fix or sell my car? etc… Or it doesn’t matter? Or does God care about what decision do I make for those things?

God is probably a lot more concerned with you loving Him, loving your neighbor, and living the Christian faith than he is with decisions about fixing your car. He’ll probably leave that one up for you to figure out. 🙂

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance & direction in your time of need.

Alternatively stated, if you focus on loving Him, loving your neighbor, and living the Christian faith, He’ll make whatever you decide in that mindset work out for your good. Pray, ask for His guidance in your thinking, and then do your best to figure out what’s best for the situation.

I’ve also found that trying to trust Him in little things lets me get better at understanding Him when the big things come around, but I’m by no means good at that.

I will pray for the Holy Spirit to lead you forward in each and every decision you need to make.

From your post I surmise that you are at the stage in life where you have just begun to face a lot of decisions on your own. Don’t worry too much. You will certainly make decisions that you will later file under the heading of “Mistakes.” We all make them. Learn from them. Always remember that you are a child of God, and He loves you.

Matthew 10:29-33

Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.

Even all the hairs of your head are counted.

So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my Heavenly Father.

But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my Heavenly Father
