I could do with some advice on how to not just act like I love people who I meet or have to deal with regularly, but to really feel it.
I try to live a good life and avoid breaking the commandments but I really struggle a lot of the time with truly loving other people who I aren’t close to. I love my family and friends, but I often find myself judging others and feeling anger towards other acquaintances and not wishing them the best if I feel that they have acted in an unjust way towards me or my family/friends (especially my children).
I’m really trying to grow closer to God but I’m finding that even though I always try to act well towards others, often what I feel inside doesn’t match my actions. This seems to be getting worse the more I try to improve my spiritual life.
Maybe there is a very obvious solution to this, but I’ve been struggling with this for a while and I just can’t seem to solve it.
Thanks in advance for any help!
