How do I organize a rosary?

Two years ago when my grandmother died we did the rosary for a week at my mother’s home. Now that my mother has passed away and her funeral was Saturday I want to do the same for my mother starting Monday night.

My mother was assisted by a two-woman group who took charge of the prayers, traditions, etc. I do not have contact with them. I need guidence in what to do.

Invite over anyone whom you believe would be interested in taking part in the rosary and pray the rosary with them each night. As a practical matter, with the exception of family, you might invite over a few per night in order not to burden non-family with the prospect of coming over every night for a week. Although you might add a few extraneous details (e.g., you might wish to read the Gospel readings for the day out of a daily missal) and offer light refreshment such as coffee, cookies, and a break for some socializing, the only thing the group really need do is pray the rosary.
