I’ve been speaking with Mormons on a regular basis and am involved with speaking with 3 missionaries at a time. The issue they keep pushing is that Mormons have the correct blueprint for the church and Catholics do not. What is this Church Blueprint and how do I refute it?

The key to refuting any Christian community that lays claim on texts that the Catholic Church looks to for support is history.

Mormons may appeal to Matthew 16:18-19 to support their hierarchical structure, but they do not have the historical continuity with Peter as we do in the Bishop of Rome.

You might propose to the Mormon missionaries: “What is more reasonable - to belong to a church that has the 265th successor to St. Peter as the Bishop of Rome or to a church that says the church apostatized and then was revitalized by some guy who claimed to receive a private revelation?” It think the former is more credible.
