Go, and now sin no more.As a Catholic I believe that when I was married I made a covenant with God and with my spouse to honor and love her, etc. There was a difficult time in our marriage when I was visiting escorts once a month or so. I feel that I have broken our marriage covenant by being unfaithful to my wife and to God. I have been to confession regarding this matter, but I’m wondering if this is enough? How do I renew my marriage covenant?
Those are good and necessary things. You should also be aware that one of the purposes of the marital act is to renew you marital covenant. So add that to the things you should do and if you haven’t done so already get to a doctor and make sure you didn’t contract any STD’s. In conclusion be the best Christian and husband you can be going forward.I’m not saying to renew my marriage vows, I am asking what do I need to do on my part to make good the covenant that I entered into. Is just going to confession and vowing to no longer commit this sin enough? I’m not talking about whether or not to disclose this information to my spouse.
