I agree, Seagul, your intentions were probably good and maybe even driven by frustration since they had been around so often, but they won’t see Jesus in us this way :). I think the best way to do this thing is to learn how to reply to them you know? To educate ourselves so that we counter attack 😂! When they come to convert us, we actually get them lol! But We should never attempt this unless we have been properly educated on how to deal with their doctrine. It can be so confusing that I’m sure one of us could fall for it if we’re not careful.

When they call at my door I simply say I have my own Church and start closing the door.
Most are smart enough to understand their time is better spent next door.

Those who try and prove their salesmanship skills will come back with more but I just keep closing the door and repeat my first statement with a “thanks” added on the end.

I admire them immensely for their evangelisation and the way they take on and leaven rough neighbourhoods.
The Catholic Church has much to learn there.
It is just sad they are misguided in higher things.

Here’s a thread I did about them a while back. Good resources and arguments can be made against their claims.

In order to fulfil our Christian duty, we must “evangelize” the JWs who come to our doors or to our places of work. How do we do this? First, arguing theology with JWs is usually futile. They spend 5-6 hours per week going to th…
