I have a really hard time imagining my mother greeting me in heaven. (Which is pretty sad.) It’s not that I don’t hope that she gets there, but if she was there, she’d have to be so changed that I probably wouldn’t recognize her if I floated right past her. But then again, we’d all be changed wouldn’t we. I wonder if anyone would recognize anyone else?
Don’t forget that you, too, will be a saint, and having the eyes to see Christ in her, you will not have any trouble seeing not only who she was to you, but who he had made her to be for you all alone.

It is my belief that there will be no “nobodies” in Heaven. All will be revealed, and there will be no strangers. We’ll know and love people we’ve never met in our lives!! 👍

It’s possible. It’s just hard for me to imagine my mom without all that sin. There are some people I can imagine being perfect in heaven. (My grandma, my dad, my husband, etc) It’s just hard to picture my mom there.
Yes, but you know those shows where those people take off 300 lbs or something? Somehow they look entirely different, and yet don’t you also have a feeling as if to say, “Aha! That’s who you were all the time!! Of course!! Wow! And you are so fit and happy and so easily able to do so many things you never could think of doing! I’m so happy for you!”

Yes, and we cannot possibly imagine the weight of sin. Maybe that is why angels can fly, because they are not shackled and chained by the weight of sin like human beings are in this life.
