I want to de-godparent my children’s godparents. How do I go about to do so the Catholic way? I’m desperate for answer, as this is a very serious matter in my life and want to do it the right way.
I’m sorry, but a godparent is a godparent for life. That is why it is critically important for parents to be careful in their selection of godparents at the time of baptism. It cannot later be changed. Please see the link below for more information.
