How do I word a sin of impurity in confession?

My boyfriend and I have decided to be abstinent until we are married. We have been having a lot of trouble with purity. We have stopped putting ourselves in danger of temptation. We would like to confess what we have done, but I don’t know how to word my confession. I was told you should avoid being overly graphic when describing your sin but that you should also be specific. My boyfriend and I have essentially been passionately kissing, which would lead to “dry humping.” (Please forgive the crudity but I don’t know how else to describe it.) I want to confess this, but I don’t want to word it in such an embarrassing way. What would be a more respectful way of confessing what we did?
 
One possibility is, “My boyfriend and I engaged in an act of sexual sin together. We didn’t go ‘all the way’ but our actions got close to that.” If the priest needs more information, he’ll ask.
