I’ve held a Service of Tenebrae at every church I’ve ever served on Good Friday. They expected both Holy Thursday and Good Friday services, as well as other worship during the Triduum.

Atypical of Baptist. Sounds like they are copying some of our actions. That sounds amazing.
Catholic masses are on Sunday night oftentimes, I guess I wonder what you mean?I’ve always wondered why protestant churches, with exception of SDA and other hardline groups, can have their sunday services on Sunday night? and good friday services on friday night?
How common is this?I’ve held a Service of Tenebrae at every church I’ve ever served on Good Friday. They expected both Holy Thursday and Good Friday services, as well as other worship during the Triduum.

Several Lutheran parishes in my neighbourhood held Tenebrae services this year. Actually, this is an old service that had even fallen by the wayside amongst Catholics until a few years ago. My parish held them last year and this year, but I was unable to go either time. We had them on Wednesday of Holy Week, so did the Lutheran parishes. I hope I will be able to attend next year. How common is this?
