Yes indeed and thats what we are called to do worship Him. I do not have to be in a church or have a priest or pastor to worship God, I do everytime I read His word, sing His Praises or pray. In the car, in the house, walking anywhere I am at I worship Him

Hey, prmerger; check this out, all semantics aside, I have never advocated for you or any other catholic to stop calling your pope holy father. This is how you were raised, if you are a âcradle catholicâ,(that is so cute!Then I donât understand why you take the verse right before it, which says âcall no man fatherâ and understand it in a completely different way.
Either you say:
-itâs wrong to call any many father, including priests.
AND
-itâs wrong to call any man teacher, including your pastor
OR
-itâs okay to call people father, as long as you understand the Supreme Fatherhood of God
AND
-itâs okay to call people teacher, as long as you understand the Supreme Teacherhood of God. (Is âteacherhoodâ a word?")
It makes no sense, however, to say that âcall no man fatherâ literally means what it says, but the very next verse should not be taken literally.
), or how you were taught if you are a convert! I was taught to believe that my earthly father was my earthly father and that God was my Holy Father:thumbsup: So, we are right back to square one; you call the pope holy father, and the rest of us call him the pope!

Not really sure why some people have such a hard time believing that you can worship God in song as well as assembling with other believers in a solemn ceremony
Our church has aservice called Threshold, where the lights are turned off, only candles burn, and a pastor leads the group in prayer, and giving thanks to God for His grace and mercy! People are lifted up and some have hands laid upon them:thumbsup: There is also worship music! An evening of total surrender and worship

Well, I suppose I am, *if youâre saying that it doesnât matter *if Jesus was born of a Virgin, if he resurrected, if there is one God or many, if there is no trinityâŚif we cannot say what Truth isâthen we are indeed no better than a good, charitable non-believer.
If I had to guess,though, Iâd say that you really donât think it doesnât matter. However, some of your posts imply that Truths donât really matter as long as we do ______ (fill in the blank).

I will be prepared to stand before my Lord having believed and put my trust in His grace as it is presented in His word. I believe she was a virgin before Jesus was born. I believe in the resurrection of our Lord and His eventual return. I believe in one God in the form of three persons the Father The Son and The Holy Spirit. If I fail to understand something after all my efforts to do so, then I will fall on the loving mercy of my Lord. However, there are numerous references in Scripture to people being holy, and to people being our spiritual fathers, thus, if someone is both holy and a spiritual father, he would be a holy father.

(BTW, I donât know of *any *Catholic who confuses the Holy Father, Pope B16, with God the Father Almighty.)

I understand what myredeemer means, but he may have said that he doesnât deserve the blessings that Christ has bestowed upon him, both in this life and the next(none of us do, but thanks to grace the Lord has promised us eternal life). And he was talking about himself, not anyone already in Heaven!
