Oh, okay. but if I end up in Purgatory if I should not die before baptism, and go straight to hell, I would think I would be praying for the ones I loved here, even if not for my stubborn self.I think it might be more like some souls saying, “No, no - let me try it by myself - if I need your help I’ll ask for it.” Because even in Purgatory people experience pride and stubbornness - these are among the things they are trying to conquer.![]()
Interesting though. I guess thats part of the thing we would be most clinging to, pride and stubborness. Jesus knows I did most of my life, even now.
I dont like the thought of no one praying for me while I am there, because I dont know any Catholics to do so for me. Unless, other non protestants do this? Because from what I can see they think its a doctrine of the devil.
