I mean day after day, call after call, they are sooooooo patient with people who have called to “staighten them out”.

A caller usually starts out with a friendly voice feining an interest about a certain Catholic teaching and then through their own “brilliant” questioning, expect to stump the apologist.

Even I can now spot these callers a mile away. The apologist can usually tell whether or not the call is scripted.

Anyway, hats off to all of them. Where would I be without them?

I know… God bless all of them! I am not one for confrontation… I will defend my faith to anyone in a friendly conversation, but when some of these callers get really obnoxious and confrontational, I have to change the station because it makes me sick to my stomach… like a deep anxiety that someone is so beligerently anti-Catholic.😦 I could never do what they do. I will discuss, but can’t argue… when met with hostility I become too emotional.

The absolute best is Jimmy Akin. He is so very patient and kind and is an extremely good example for all of us.
Go to the radio page and just randomnly choose a Q & A session of his----wonderful.

I know, this guy was being SO rude to Patrick Madrid last week, and he handled himself SO calmly. I couldn’t have done it. I was very impressed. They all do such good work, planting seeds that may never grow.
