Yes but is it their best option? and is it a means to an improved life style ?

If you are removing their best option, you hurt those trying to improve themselves! The assumption of if nobody buys then these people will work for high wages makes no sense, why are they not working for high wages now?
There’s room to pay these workers a modest amount more. Because of the state of their economy they lack the options and thus bargaining power to demand more. This is exploitation, yet you call it just simply because the wages are freely agreed to.

Working for pennies an hour is not their best option. Why would you not believe those humans are capable of the same things the rest of us are?
So they should take their best option and not sew
Besides, as much as I am reducing the demand for cheep imports I am increasing the demand for American semi skilled labor.
Meaning the living standards are falling in the poor foreign countries!! Is that your objective?
And it has also caused a plummet of wages in first world countries and the loss of freedom here in the States.
No, it increased freedom in America. Wages in the USA are based on need (known as demand) so when wages fall in the US it shows cost of living has fallen. Examples are real prices of clothes, shoes, and TV’s.

Long term USA trade partners without constraints become equals, even when the first generations have to over come many constraints.

Yes, I agree

No, put yourself in their position and face the future would you rather say:

" Child, I sew shoe so you may be a Doctor/Lawyer/Engineer "
or

" Child I will teach you how to survive on the land just as all our past generation have"

There best option is to devise new ways to maximize the resources at their disposal and develop industries that can better their way of life.

Freedom in America has been declining as the government takes over more and more of our lives and undermining our ability to make decisions for ourselves.

USA trade partners take our technologies and the factories subsidized directly or indirectly through our taxes and turn the same against us.

I wouldn’t consider living off the land an absolute bad thing. I think that to often our culture looks down on those who choose to live simple lives instead of seaking wealth.

Yes I agree, now is sewing the first step?

The more trade the less government influnce,

But did they choose, or did they have no other option, that is why we should not remove the sewing option. The more options they have the better they are. Let them turn down sewing, but do not restrict them from the option.

They have to choose to make their own options with out other people squelching them. government only take options away. I do not restrict them from options, I simply choose to not facilitate the options I disagree with.

Where there is trade, greedy people will look to the government to aid them in stealing from it.

There are many issues to be taken into consideration when you determine a fair and just wage.
First is the profitiablitlity of the company. What skill and training do you require the worker to bring to the job. For example do you expect the worker to be trained by the company so they then can do the work, or do you expect the new hire to already be trained and experienced so that you do not have to invest company money into training. What are the executives paid in comparison to the workers? What fringe benefits are you providing? What are other companies paying for similar work. How much of the companies profit can be traced to the productivity of the worker?
To sum it up as a union negotiator, I used to tell my members, my job was to get them as much money as possible, without putting the company out of business.
A healthy company is one that has well paid loyal workers and that they treat each other with respect and understanding.
