Hi,
I have a question about the Dominican Giordano Bruno. The Church allowed him to be executed because of his heresy, but if the Church was supposed to execute people back then for heresy, wouldn’t that go against the principle of religious toleration? And why does the Church not execute people for heresy today, if it did so back then?
Thank you
