Read post #176, if this does not enlighten you, I do not know what will. I know there is so much good by looking at my granddaughter, experiecing the ocean, and oh my! my dear wife now with alzhiemers. It IS a good world.
Thanks but that is definitely not a philosophical argument that God is good as one can just as easily look at all the bad in the world and say God is evil or not perfectly good etc.
Then you must weight what you have intuited. I believe most historians and anthropologist will agree that there appears to be much more beauty and good in this world than otherwise. And what is not, is the absence of God. Now i am obligated to prove the last sentence. There are too many better apologist than me on this sight that can do that. I have already read them and think that your answer can be found if you will read the rest of the responses.
Considering you could never know what non-existence feels like I find it funny that you actually used this as an answer.
Since existence is as a good thing and God is responsible for your existence then this means God is good.
