I have heard several interviews with an archbishop. Each time the interviewer addressed the archbishop as “Your Excellency.” Is it not proper to address an archbishop as “Your Grace”?

If the archbishop is Anglican, then “Your Grace” is appropriate. But if he is Catholic, then the correct address is indeed “Your Excellency.” If the Catholic archbishop is also a cardinal though, the correct address is “Your Eminence.”
