How do you all feel about this? Praying loudly before Mass begins

Our parish does this. Thirty minutes before Mass starts, the congregation says one rosary and one chaplet of the Divine Mercy. A different person leads each decade. Then Mass. When Mass ends, one day there is a devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, another to Saint Jude and so forth. The priests don’t lead the rosary, but they do the after-Mass devotion.

At our parish we often have the Rosary before Mass as well. For the Saturday night/ Sunday Masses, there’s actually a schedule of Rosary leaders. On weekdays, there’s one older guy who generally leads the Rosary when he’s there before Mass. In either case, it’s generally completed 5-7 minutes before Mass.

I enjoy it. I know some other parishes do it too; some have it on the schedule, some just do it. What I don’t enjoy is people just chatting in the nave and sanctuary before Mass.

Praying the Rosary out loud just before Mass is fine with me.
And I’m a quiet type.
