How do you answer the question of why doesn't God show himself to everyone?

Possibly because he does not exist. I am not being a troll, but that is a legit answer. Occam’s Razor would even agree.

Only if you assume that God would want to show Himself to everyone.

However, there are a couple things to consider with the main question.
The first is the assumption that He doesn’t show Himself to all.
The second implicit assumption is that He would want to show Himself to all.
However, Scripture indicates that this is not what He wants to do. “You have seen and believed, but I say to you, blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed”.
Further, Scripture and Church seem to indicate that someone cooperating with God’s Graces with an open heart and searching diligently with proper reason will find Him. Nature declares the Glory of God, and I think that includes the nature of our reality. Some believe that we have available to us a final conversion.

Of course, one must wonder what it means when it is asked, “reveal Himself”. Is that not our job as Christians?

But, who does God reveal Himself to in this world in a sense of vision? Either devout believers or those who would be searching, most of the time. Not just randomly, it would seem.

Not at all. God doesn’t just stay in Heaven because the Holy Spirit (which is God) is all around us.

Same reason there comes a point when parents have let their adult children live on their own, make their own decisions, make their own mistakes, etc. If parents continue to treat their adult children like kids, their adult children will never grow up and never gain true independence, or learn what life is truly about.

Think about it for a moment. If every single person on Earth had a miraculous experience with God, how many of us would still be doing what we do on a daily basis? How many of us would simply become monks and praise God all day long? How many of us would stop caring about this life, here on Earth?

God didn’t give us life here on Earth for the SOLE purpose of getting to Heaven. He wanted us to have the experience of the physical life.

If all the secrets of Heaven were reveled to us while on Earth, most of us would miss out on the purpose of life.

It is written, “If they would not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they would not listen even to a man come back from the dead.” God does not reveal Himself in the way the skeptics demand because even if He did, they still would not believe, and their condemnation would be so much the greater for it. Nothing will persuade those who have already made up their minds not to believe.
 
My argument is based on inductive logic, not deductive reasoning. I never claimed it was 100% proof. Occam’s Razor is never absolute proof beyond a shadow of a doubt. It’s more like strong circumstantial evidence.

Every one of your points creates a more complicated argument which in my opinion weakens it. I never need to make all of these assumptions about what God would do if I do not assume that God exists in the first place.

And by the way, all the evidence in my life has been that God does not exist or that God even hates me with a passion. I have searched, but have not found.
 
Its a good question and I forget what the ideal answer is to tell non-believers.
If we saw all of God, no mystery, everything revealed, nothing hidden, we’d die immediately from shock. We just couldn’t take it.

In response to the question:

Well, He will, just not when we plan on it. That’s what the second coming will be.

Also, He already did. He spent hundreds of years communicating with the Israelites, and they weren’t always obedient (that’s how the Old Testament can be summed up). They knew the one true God and still chose to serve false gods. Then He came as Jesus, performing great miracles (which is what the non-believers seek), and still not everyone believed.

For now, the best answer I can give for why God doesn’t do something like this is, “Read the Bible!” because it tells you what happens every time God interacts directly with His creation.
