In what way should I properly and kindly ask a saint or angel/archangel for a sign on something?

You don’t ask them for signs. You pray through their intercession with faith and your prayer is answered or not.

Why do you have two threads asking the same thing?

No, you didn’t send it twice, you typed out a totally new title and started a new thread.
 
Im a very indecisive person and I want to ask a specific saint, but I don’t really know which saint to pray to , or pray to St. Uriel the Archangel and ask if I should be making this decision…

I would not like to disclose this on here tho…

Yea, the sending thing told me the title was wrong before I sent it the second time so I typed the title differently, but they both sent anyways :confused: sorry
 
What I do is use Google to find the Saint most appropriate for the need. But really, you can pray to any or all, asking for their intercession.

If you ask them for anything, be sure you say, “If it be God’s will, could you please let me know…” etc. God decides if they are allowed to “message” you, and he might say no.

In the 12th chapter of the Gospel according to St Matthew, Our Lord has some very choice words for those who seek after signs from Him. I would suggest that you read them.
 
You just ask for it. and if it be Gods will the your prayer will be answered. usually you would ask your guardian angel or your special and powerful patron to intercede for you. Or if its a specific request, you try and find the saint who is the patron of what you want and ask that saint to pray for you to the God. If you want more on that just message me.
