How do you confess when you don't know the local language?

I am currently living in a very small town in Brazil. None of the priests speak English and I want to go to confession before I receive the Communion. I am a little frustrated because I want so badly to confess my sins; and I am wondering if I pray to Jesus and ask him to forgive me for my sins, will they be abolished? And therefore, can I receive Communion? What should I do in this situation?
 
Surely someone in this town speaks English and Portuguese. Ask that person to go with you to the local church to explain your dilemma to the priests. The priests may know of a reliable and trustworthy person who can act as a translator for confessions, or they may be able to put you into contact with an English-speaking priest.
