How do you confess when you've forgotten how many times you sinned?

I want to make a good confession this coming Christmas, especially my mortal sin of adultery. The problem is I seem to have forgotten exactly how many times I committed it. Can I just say, “I have willfully committed adultery many times on ten or fifteen occasions”?
 
Yes. Or you can say, “I’ve committed adultery repeatedly. I cannot remember exactly how many times.” If you were speaking literally when you said, “… this coming Christmas,” then I urge you not to wait for Christmas but to go to confession at the next available opportunity.
