How do you convince an atheist to return to the faith?

How do you convince an atheist, specifically, an ex-christian to return to the faith esp if they were morally, mentally, emotionally hurt (priest abuse, bullying by christians, no response from a god despited prayers) while being a member of a christian religion? This doesn’t relate to myself but for other atheists who had left the christian religion.
