How do you dispose of a video of a Mass?

I have a VHS tape of a Mass celebrated by a priest I used to follow but stopped after realizing he and his ministry have promoted false private revelations. How do I properly dispose of this VHS tape? I feel guilty just throwing it into the garbage. Thank you.

Hi,

Erase it if you want. But I don’t see any great danger of anyone being harmed by it. Today very few people are interested in old video tapes.
