Well, if you look at the Mass as a prayer that is structured in such a way that the participant is gradually lifted up into fuller communion with the eternal worship surrounding God in heaven, the point at which the Church on earth is most in communion with the Church in heaven is when Christ becomes present fully. That’s how I see the consecration as the high point of the Mass.Where does the Church say what the high point of the Mass is? I thought the entire Mass was a “high point.” Thanks for any help.
