How do you flirt with your spouce?

I read men are from mars and women are from Venus years ago and he said to give your spouse three hugs per day. That will help with the physical part, if that’s what you’re getting at.

I like to surprise her with flowers on non-anniversary/non-birthday occasions, just for the heck of it. I always say I love you when we wake up and before we go to bed, and sporadically throughout the day. When my hands are unoccupied, I will sometimes come up from behind her and massage her shoulders, because her shoulders are usually sore. I cook dinner when I can. Once or twice a month I’ll send her a text while I’m working just to let her know that I miss her. When I have an excess of cash, I try to spring for tickets to take her to a Broadway show since she likes that too. When I’m feeling frisky, I’ll grab her by the hips. I tell her she looks beautiful.

This probably betrays a high level of immaturity, but my husband and I have a tendency to make lots of “That’s what she said” jokes. 😊

Now that our oldest is old enough to remember and repeat things, we can often communicate the sentiment with an eyebrow raise. 😉

We used to be that mature too and lots of “That’s what she said” jokes were flying around a few years ago.
Unfortunately the enlisted of the US Air Force find those jokes hilarious too. It got old hearing those jokes at work and at home all the time.

So we just do loads of innuendo.

Hubby and I flirt all the time. It’s still lots of fun. Our kids aren’t old enough to repeat everything yet.

This thread looks like fun. Lots of straight laced Catholics letting their hair down. 😃

We make silly comments with lots of innuendo in them. Sometimes, I will sit on my husband’s lap, or sometimes he will grab me for a kiss. We like to make each other laugh. We also tease each other A LOT, we call it “busting chops”.

We flirt about like we did when we were dating. I hope that we never lose that.

He does really cute things all the time. For example, last week we were out in a group of about 60 people, many of whom we didn’t know, because a couple of our friends were having an engagement party. We split up for about an hour to talk to different people, and during that hour he bought my favorite drink and sent the bartender over to my table to give it to me-courtesy of the dark-haired man sitting at the bar. When I got it I looked over at him and smiled, and he winked back at me. It was adorable because the bartender didn’t know we were married, he thought that my hubby was a stranger making a pass at me.

On a daily basis, we’re the couple that holds hands everywhere we go. We have lots of jokes, innuendo, and of course, compliments. He still makes me blush, and he does it on purpose. We text each other a bit throughout the day, and we periodically surprise each other with small gifts. We make it a point to look nice for each other at least a couple of times a week.

We get asked all the time “How long have you guys known each other?” and “How long have you been dating?” and everyone is always shocked to hear that we’ve been together for 5 years, living together for 3, and married for less than one. Part of it is because we’re still in our late 20’s, but it’s also because we still try to impress each other, flirt, and laugh.

Sorry this is so long, posts about my husband tend to get a bit out of control. Can you tell I love him? :o;)😃

Since watching the office, we (mostly me) make those jokes as well. It (among other things), probably is reflective of my level of immaturity!

When I am at work I will call him at home (he’s retired) and sing I just called to say I love you song.
Write love notes and put in odd places. Inside his slippers or shoes, bathroom cabinet, pockets.
I have actually unrolled the tp and placed a note there and rolled it back up.

If he is driving somewhere I will go out and put my teddy bear holding a heart on the passenger side if I am not going to go with him.

Turn his socks, t shirts, and underwear inside out just to let him know I am thinking of him.

:D:D

Small ways we touch each other (non-sexual), some of which is appropriate for company (e.g. putting your arm around your spouse and touching his arm, in a way only he can interpret), holding hands (definitely ok in public), things we did when we were only dating, walks in the place where we went on our first few dates, reminds us of that time, many people say that we still look like that sometimes.

He is XXL and he often pulls me close for a kiss or picks me up and tosses me around (think acrobatic rock’n’roll, not domestic abuse :D).

We get small things for each other, like I’ll get him something salty, he’ll get me something sweet, or some non-food item I know he’ll like, it doesn’t have to be big, but it really is the thought that counts, when you know someone could use a snack, even that can be part of it.

For my husband, love really does go through the stomach sometimes, so if I make something we don’t eat often, maybe something just for him. 😃

Basically anything that tells me the other person thought of me during the day.

Lately… daily, no maybe more than that. 😃

Compliments, hugging, sneaking a kiss when the kids aren’t looking. He’s a cuddle bear. So if I’m ever sitting down and watching TV or reading he’s right there. Although that is quickly followed by one or both children demanding cuddles.

We do that too. My husband and one of his buddies from his last job, started using a code word instead. For them it was “Bubbles”.

As it is, I already randomly say “Ocelot” to see how tired my husband is. If he is beyond exhausted, he will bust out laughing. 😃

Do priests, nuns, & religious faithful flirt with God??? If so, how?!?!?!?

I was actually wondering the same thing myself and all of these responses are cute! 😃
