How do you guys come up with this stuff?

I thought this was the Church’s posistion (that we are saved by God’s grace), but that humans can reject this grace.

do you have a source for your position?

Hi Pete,

Yes, but it isn’t as simple as that, do a search for “salvation” and “grace” here at the CCC.

Additionally, I do not have a “position”… my beliefs can be found in the Catechism and the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. If I am ever mistaken and I learn that my beliefs are in conflict with Catholicism, I correct my beliefs to line up with my Catholic faith.

As long as we all are willing to speak the truth, listen to each other, pray the Holy Spirit help us. You are right, I don’t want you to tell me what I want to hear about Catholicism. Tell me what you believe. I’ll tell you what I believe. Unity will come from being honest, the the HS guiding us.
