Hi everyone,
I just wanted to start a discussion about something that is very important. I consider it a mission of mine to help people know how much God loves them. It is the inspiration for all the good I attempt to do for others. I try to do good for others because I want them to know God loves them. I know Scripture clearly shows us that God loves us because He sent His only Son to die for us, so that we can be eternally happy with Him in Heaven. But so many people claim they don’t believe in God, but I think the problem is that they do not believe that God loves them. For what good is God if He does not love us. And they do not believe that there can be a loving God with all the suffering they go through and see. So I want to listen to how each of you know that God loves you, and how we can best help people to truly know, and truly experience how much God loves them.
I am eager to hear what people have to say in answer to this ultimate question. And for those who do not believe God loves them, what would it take for you to believe, to know, to truly experience in your heart, your soul, your mind, that God does not only exist, that He created you, but that He truly really loves you?
Please pray for me and all of us to help all people know God’s love for them, and to share it with all others.
God bless you all. Amen.

God loves me because He keeps me safe throughout the night from all evil (even if I have nightmares!) and He gives me the grace and strength to see and live on the next day!

I fell very ill shortly after I was born, and I know that God loves me very much because He granted me the grace and healing to survive. I am indeed a Child of God!

Personally, I believe that God loves me because even though I may be lonely at times, not only is He there with me by my side, He has sent me my beautiful and loving parents and Godparents to accompany me in life and accept me for who I really am, despite all my imperfections and flaws

In St. Thomas Aquinas Commentary concerning Jn 3:16, he cites Pope Gregory the Great, Gregory says: “the proof of love is given by action”.

You may see much insight in how the practical exhortations of Pope Francis concern the citation from Pope Gregory. For one, the Pope says “The life of slumbering Christians is a sad life; it is not a happy life. Christians must be happy with the joy of Jesus. Let us not fall asleep!” — Pope Francis, General Audience, April 24, 2013.

The world is changing. God is acting in the world. We have to change to act with God in our own renewal. Hence, we have to watch. “And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch.” (Mk 13:37) “I love them that love me: and they that in the morning early watch for me, shall find me.” (Prov 8:17)

The soul watching early… (see the toward the beginning of the small book Garden of the Soul by Bishop Challoner. He explains the fundamentals of it. St. Jose Maria Escriva, in some paragraph of one of his books, presents the same mind as the Challoner taught.) This early day exercise, brings right reason to the reality of waking from sleep. It does not have to be methodical as Challoner presents it, but it needs order as does virtue (according to S. Francis de Sales) God as Love is the author of right reason. And with love of the First Mind: expressed best in the teachings i.g. Angelic Doctor, the Pontiffs, we gain the mind of the Church (or the much used term: sentire cum Ecclesia) “To act ‘according to the mind of the Church’ is a mark of Catholic loyalty and frequently urged on the faithful by the modern popes.” (Catholicculture.org) Dictionary : MIND OF THE CHURCH | Catholic Culture

When I did not know God, he gave me a wife who loved me and took care of me in spite of myself. When she died, He gave me another wife who loves me inspite of myself and we have even a better relationship as now He is in the middle of it. I cannot prove God’s love for me to anyone but me, but I know.

I know because I have faith that Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth to live among us, was crucified for me, rose from the dead for me, sent me the Holy Spirit, and feeds me at his altar daily. What more proof can there be? I am created, sheltered, guided, nurtured, and a place of mercy waiting me at death.

The fact that I am here, typing this, with air in my lungs and of sound mind, and not condemned to hell for all eternity as my sins deserve. That is enough to know that God loves me.

He became Man, suffered death, this is the greatest act of love.

I know God loves me, because he constantly forgives me. He saves me from my self-destruction most days of the week.

“It is not hard to spurn human consolation when we have the divine. It is, however, a very great thing indeed to be able to live without either divine or human comforting and for the honor of God willingly to endure this exile of heart, not to seek oneself in anything, and to think nothing of one’s own merit.” (Imitation of Christ, 2, 9, 1)

“Seek first the kingdom of God, ect.”

Saint Bonaventure explained God’s mode of care to us with the words of Augustine: “The Lord shows that temporal things are not to be sought as our goods even though they are necessary. But the kingdom of God is to be sought and in it, we find the reason for which we do everything.”

“We should seek temporal things not in the first but in the second place.” (STh II-II, q. 83, a.6, rep. 1)

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. He’s the one best suited for this type of task. He knows many things about each and every single one of us that allows Him to touch people’s hearts in ways that we in our limited understanding and knowledge cannot. Just sit and have an honest conversation with Him about your intentions and your desire to show people God’s love and He will help you. Good luck, and God bless.

When I was a child and made my first Communion, I was so afraid when I was told it was the Body and Blood of Jesus I didn’t quite understand…As I got older the Consecration of the Mass brought me closer to Jesus, I listened very carefully to the words of the priest. as I still do. When I kneel I center my attention on what those words mean and I feel that it is just Jesus and myself. I feel His love in my heart and to the core of what I must say is my soul… He has seen me through tragic times, when I thought I would never live through it. I have learned that if you stay close and keep your relationship with Jesus, He will keep you close to His loving and Merciful Heart. My prayers are with you and all those who need to find Jesus in their life…🦋🦋

Because God was willing to die for my sins, I can’t imagine that He doesn’t love me.

So, if someday thieves or demons begin to attack you every night, or if one day you die in your sleep that means God does not love you?

For the Bible tells me so.

They are weak, but He is strong. "
