This is a fun thread! I love hearing how everyone has found their patron saint, and know the Lord will lead you to yours in His perfect time as well. I lifted you in prayer as well. 🙂

Tracy Q.

Yes and thanks to all! 🙂

Read that today is anniv of St.Padre Pio rceieving the stigmata - the Christian model of dealing with violence , of accepting sufferings in reparation , for those who need to be set free from the violence they do to themselves and others , through addictions and bondages, slander and sins of all kinds …

He who was so close to God that he could confidantly promise protection to the people of the town during WW11 …

There are also upcoming Feasts of St Mathew , St Vincent DePaul , The Archeangels, guardian angels, St Francis , St Faustina … our Lady of Rosary… 🙂

God Bless!

I was so confused recently, kinda angry also with the corrupted world, well, corrupted church. And actually I was considering to leave the church. When I was in my room, suddenly, I have the urge to see a stack of books on the floor, and right among my school textbooks, there is a book of St. Francis of Assisi. Suddenly, I remember his lifestory, how he left all his wealth and took a vow of poverty, even walked to Rome to meet the Pope and what he saw there was disappointing. However, it didn’t change his mission and he still kept going.

It’s something that I always remind myself of whenever I see/hear unpleasant thing about the Church. 🙂

I know I’m a little late in chiming in on this thread, but here goes anyway.

My patron saint(s) are the ones who are honored on the day I received my name - at my Baptism. I was baptised on February 14th. Funny thing is that now that I’m old and have a lot of years to look back on, the saints listed on February 14th seem to fit in perfectly with my life’s journey. Guess they were looking out for me even when I didn’t know it!
