Public prayer is an essential part of Catholicism.The Divine Liturgy, processions,public recitation of the Divine Office, and many more. Jesus told us not to make ourselves look holier than others by our prayer. The Pharisees bragged about how holy they were. They spoke to others like this "I wear yarmulke everywhere. You are a pagan… You fool!!.
