How do you prove abortion is wrong?

Hello, my name is Matt and I have a couple of atheist friends who do not believe that abortion is wrong and that a baby is just a fetus as opposed to a living person. How can I explain to them that abortion is wrong without really going into faith issues? Also are there any references that I could read about the issue that prove abortion wrong in secular terms?
