I am new to the Church, recently came over from the Methodist church. I will start RCIA in September and I have been going to Mass every Sunday, but for the life of me I can not figure out how to read the missal. At least what order to go in. I can figure out the pages that have the date on them but after that I am lost.

In the missals you find in church, the date indicates the readings for that Sunday. Those are the primary changeable parts of the Mass. The mainly fixed parts of the Mass are usually printed separately, in the sections before and after the readings.

I recommend going to a Catholic bookstore, purchasing a missal, and asking the clerk there to show you how to use it. A good Sunday Mass missal is the [Vatican II Sunday Missal (http://www.pauline.org/store/moreinfo/sundaymissal.html). If you start going to daily Mass, a good missal for the daily Mass is the Vatican II Weekday Missal. If you want both the Sunday and daily readings all in one place, a helpful resource to subscribe to is Magnificat magazine.
