How do you talk with co-workers about your faith?

oh what a great subject!!!
I dont like to go around preaching it so much, but if people ask, ill tell them about my beliefs.
This didnt happen at work, but one day i was over my friends place and i was helping them move in etc. After moving stuff around for HOURS, we decided to take a break and have dinner. Her husband is muslim and so is she, so what did they decide to do, talk about religion and try to convice me being a catholic is wrong… well i was so angry, but i didnt show it. The question he asked me was, ‘so, why did God need a son’ and my first reaction was to laugh, and i said have you got 3 days for an explanation buddy!
You think after all the help i gave them, they would at least have the day off trying to convince me that being a catholic is wrong!! heck no, they still babbled on!!!
So now when i go over, i have said no talk about religion. I only like to talk about it IF people want to learn about it, not try and poke holes in it.
 
There are several different religious traditions where I work. I will engage in discussions if approached. I do get “are you a Christian?” or “have you been baptized?” We have Church of Christ lady and a Catholic who center on baptism…at least they seem to be very concerned of my baptismal status.

There is a Mormon, who usually stays to himself when it comes to religious matters…he and I do talk on occasion, I have even taken a Book of Mormon from him and promised to read it if he read “Testament of Devotion” by Thomas Kelly, which provides any one interested the gist of Quaker spirituality.

As a Friend, I haven’t tried to “convert” any of them…they need to be good Catholics and Mormons and follow the Light…if what they believe gives them peace and leads them to be kind and merciful and loving to those who rub them wrong…one can’t get too much better than that…IMO.

The “truth” of a person’s religion isn’t based on doctrine and creeds…“truth” is seen on how we treat our brother…“whom we have seen”…how we treat one another is what is important and it is a determining factor on our love for God…“whom we have not seen.”
 
Funny~ one of my co-workers today saw me with this website open (yes, I’m a bad girl… online while at work) and asked me if I was Catholic. Turns out she is too and we had a really great conversation about it!
