I tolerate non-Christian religions by fraternal correction, evangelization, prayer, and giving them time to eventually see the light and believe in Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior.

The moral to the story above [which is absolutely true]. When dealing wiht non-Christian faiths, we never know when we are going to meet John’s who are still on their journey. 🙂
Sounds like a guy named Saul. Great story - thanks.

while not conceding any right to anything save what is true and honest, [the Catholic Church] does not forbid public authority to tolerate what is at variance with truth and justice, for the sake of avoiding some greater evil, or of obtaining or preserving some greater good. God Himself in His providence, though infinitely good and powerful, permits evil to exist in the world, partly that greater good may not be impeded, and partly that greater evil may not ensue. *…it is not forbidden to imitate the Ruler of the world; and, as the authority of man is powerless to prevent every evil, it has (as St. Augustine says) to overlook and leave unpunished many things which are punished, and rightly, by Divine Providence.” *-- Leo XIII, Libertas

By the commandment of Christ our Lord: 'This is my commandment to you that you love one another Jn 15 :17.

It is rather easy when you think it is by the Lord’s command 👍

I’m not sure which “tolerate” you are looking for. I have no opportunities to oppose the existence of various faith groups through any particular action of mine. It is not something I likely would do, even if given the opportunity. Other faith groups may/can/are allowed to exist in the sphere of the world.

I oppose allowing certain things to be legal, like slaughtering children. This could be construed as a type of failure to tolerate a faith group.

If you are asking if certain faith groups are annoying to me in that I dislike certain aspects of their doctrine, then this is likely so. I don’t give it more than a passing thought, though.

Perhaps you wonder if I have interactions with the actual people from other faiths. Yes, I do. They are human beings with dignity, just like me. Of course I will interact with them.

Sorry, I wasn’t sure of the precise direction of the question, so I covered several bases.
