How do you translate: 'Ite Missa est'?

According to an old missal I have, it translates to “Go, the Mass is finished” The Missal was printed approx. 1943. I also have a newer Missal that was printed just before Vat.2, that says it is “Go, you are dismissed”. So, take your pick, I guess. I’ll go with the first version.
