I originally posted this probably in the wrong place…non-Catholic…because I spend most of my time there.

be back with copy and paste:

This is my post:
I was just reading a thread about the Pill and supposedly some positive aspect of it other than preventing pregnancy [a negative to me]. I’ve always suspected that a tubiligation negatively impacts a woman’s body. I’ve read only a little about it. And I’m wondering if there are negative side effects that women should seriously consider before having one.

Tubaligation is a surgical procedure and has the accompanying risks. Do a google search for tubaligation risks.

You said that you usually post in Non-Catholic forums… I will assume that you are not Catholic. Tubaligation is for the sole purpose of preventing pregnancy which is against all Catholic Teaching. It prevents you from being open to life.

I post in non-catholic because I can relate mostly with non-Catholics and help them understand Catholic teaching. I assume that many of the non-Catholics in that forum are actually Catholics hiding from their faith of birth. It turns out that there are in fact many there. I was one of them at one time. But I didn’t hand out on boards, much less Catholic forums. In fact, I was so Catholic I went to the seminary. Long story… I ask because my wife had one on JPII’s death day…against my wishes. I even told her that if we ever become Catholic it might be an issue… I knew it would be. Deep down inside after realizing my mistake and in order to save my family from splitting up I hung on for dear life begging God to direct me. He did…eventually. I had a premonition when I first walked away and after getting wet in attempting baptism again I turned to DW and said maybe we can try Catholicism in 17 years. It was exactly 17 years later that we stumbled into the ECF and Didache…ironically in a Protestant Series about the Da Vinci Code that brought up interesting questions I never thought to google. I thought all those documents were distroyed in battles/fires. Long story…
